There are plenty of Halloween events for kids, and normally there are quite a few haunted events like the haunted trail at the Arboretum for those that like a good scare.
Of course, you can always find a good scary movie on TV or streaming services this time of the year.
I found something that piqued my interest. The Brainerd Public Library has an event on Friday October 30th that looks like it could be very interesting.
Paranormal researcher Chad Lewis is scheduled to host a program called Minnesota’s Most Haunted Locations. According to the Library’s events page, Chad has a background in Psychology with both a Bachelor and Master degree in that field. Over the past 20-some years, Chad has traveled extensively searching for unusual and bizarre stories and history.
On Friday October 30th from 7:00 to 8:00pm, Chad will talk about his explorations of the most haunted locations in Minnesota.
There are quite a few haunted places in Minnesota, including the Palmer House Hotel in Sauk Rapids, the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, the Warden’s House in Stillwater, and the Nopeming Sanatorium in Duluth to name a few.
This is a virtual event, so you do need to register ahead of time. You can google the Brainerd Public Library and register by clicking THIS LINK.
