H.P. Lovecraft finished his novella in September of 1930. In 2011 this movie was made, it never had a theatrical release and appeared in film festivals around the world. The movie does a fantastic job of looking and sounding like a movie made in the 1930’s. One of its trailers announced it would be out in October 1931. Matt Foyer is great as Albert Wilmarth and the movie holds a 80% rating of Rotten Tomatoes. It has the look and sound of a classic horror film like Frankenstein of Dracula.
